Beyoncé, Kelly Clarkson to perform at Barack Obama inauguration

Beyoncé will perform at Barack Obama’s inauguration later this month.
The singer, who campaigned for Obama alongside her husband Jay-Z, will perform the National Anthem at the ceremony on January 21, People reports.

The singer will be joined by Kelly Clarkson, who offered support for Obama before the electiondespite being a “Republican at heart” and will sing ‘My Country ‘Tis of Thee’ at the event.

Meanwhile, James Taylor will appear to sing ‘America The Beautiful’. The invocation will be given by journalist Myrlie Evers-Williams, while Reverend Louie Giglio will deliver the benediction.

The Presidential Inaugural Committee has reportedly said that further details about the ceremony will be released in the next few days.

Beyoncé, who will perform at the prestigious Super Bowl half time show on February 3, famously sang the Etta James classic ‘At Last’ at Obama’s inauguration ball in 2009 as he danced with his wife Michelle Obama for the first time as President.
